About & Research Focus

Dr. Mohd Anis Ansari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, India. He holds a Ph.D. from NIT Silchar with doctoral research centred on fabrication and characterisation of magneto-rheological (MR) fluid dampers for vibration attenuation in rotor dynamic systems.

Over the past 7.5 years across NIT Silchar, NIT Meghalaya, and CUTM, he has developed deep expertise in rotor dynamic vibration, rheology of smart fluids, and embedded sensor systems. He has guided numerous UG and PG students and received the MHRD Government of India Assistantship (2017–2024).

He qualified GATE 2016 & 2017 (All India) and has contributed to internationally acclaimed SCI-indexed journals including Acta Mechanica, Physica Status Solidi, and Applied Physics A.
