Dr. Dojalisa Sahu is a Professor of Chemistry and Ph.D. Cell Coordinator at the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, at Centurion University of Technology and Management. She completed her M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Sambalpur University and also earned an MBA in HR and IT. She began her research journey at CSIR-IMMT, where she worked on major research projects in advanced materials science.
Her research interests focus on the synthesis and development of functional nanostructured materials and their applications in photoluminescence, photocatalysis, and antibacterial studies. She has contributed extensively to scientific research through publications, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and journal review activities. She has also held several academic and administrative leadership roles, including Head of the Department, Academic Coordinator, and Associate Dean.
Dr. Sahu actively mentors research scholars and postgraduate students and continues to contribute to interdisciplinary research, academic excellence, and innovation in the field of chemistry.

Visible-light photocatalytic degradation of toxic industrial dyes and environmental remediation using doped and composite nanostructures.
Sustainable hydrogen production from biogas via thermal plasma reforming and high-purity H₂ generation using non-thermal plasma techniques.
Optically stimulated luminescence and photoluminescence properties of rare-earth and transition metal doped metal oxide nanocrystals (Eu, Gd, Cu, Co, Ni doped ZnO/SnO₂).

Dr. Sahu has been involved in several funded research projects at CSIR-IMMT and Centurion University spanning synthesis of nanomaterials, plasma-based hydrogen generation, and photocatalytic environmental remediation.
Received the prestigious Provost Distinguished Achiever Award from Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, in recognition of outstanding academic and research contributions.
Awarded the Faculty Performance Award from Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, for exemplary performance in teaching, research, and administrative service.
Received Certificate of Appreciation from AICTE, Delhi for translating an Engineering Chemistry textbook into the Odia language, contributing to vernacular technical education in Odisha.
Recognized at CUTM's Best Research Enclave 2021 (September 2021) for outstanding contributions to research and publication output within the university.
